The Scorpius is a high speed ultra-long range fade driver. It is a step below our Quasar in terms of speed and fade, but will provide excellent distance and control for into-the-wind conditions. We recommend it for moderate-powerful throwers who need something that will fade dependably and glide sustainably. It's best for Intermediate and Advanced players, but suitable for beginners if using lighter weights
This disc is molded by Innova Champion Discs and rumor has it that this is an Old Mold Destroyer. That would be akin to a Avery Jenkins destroyer! Greg Barsby throws this model instead of a destroyer because it is a touch less stable. We can verify this statement as they are much more user friendly than a destroyer for those of us who do not throw 500 feet!

I used a buddy’s disc and unfortunately the basket was exceptionally close to the water. What started out as an outstanding throw ended tragically in about 6 feet of stagnant water (no retrieval stick). I will say this, he really enjoys it. We played yesterday and he used it the entire time. He played a tournament the day before and sailed to victory with this disc as well.

The star plastic beats in quicker than a champion. Great long distance driver!! A full flight features a slight turn and forward glide forever before reliably fading at the end. One of the best distance drivers out there.
